Jack began breeding goldens in 1987 and never looked back. His first Golden was Ginger, a beautiful red field golden. Much like myself Jack was a lover of all dogs but something about the golden personality, the willingness to work, eager to please and ability to love without limits sparked his love for this breed. He is the foundation of our program.
Ginger may have been Jack’s first Golden but she was every bit of Jack’s son, Brad’s soul dog. Brad and Ginger were inseparable, from sharing the bed to driving to the beach, Brad put every moment of his time into loving and training Ginger. She was an exceptional Dog. He helped deliver her first litter of puppies while he was home alone. Talk about a bonding experience! Brad was hands on with every litter from that point on and fell in love with breeding just like his Father.
Ginger and Brad - Bonded Beyond The Rainbow Bridge
After my father in law Jack passed from cancer, myself and my Husband Brad decided to dedicate our breeding program to him. He had stopped breeding for several years due to his wife’s health issues and needing to care for her. Watching his reaction to being around our puppies reignited the spark to be surrounded by the love of golden puppies and watching the joy they bring families. 11 days after this decision Jack passed away and it was then I decided to rename our business after him and my husbands first beloved Golden Ginger. Thanks to my husband Brad and his father I was fortunate enough to fall in love with this breed and it has become my baby. I have wanted to open an exotic sanctuary my entire life and have always had the desire to work with animals. Never did I think my heart would find a home breeding well bred Golden Retriever’s but I am blessed that it did.
